ABOUT

Maybe I read too many comic books as a kid, but I’ve always wanted to be the selfless hero. The person who is brave despite fear and recognizes that the future of humanity is more precious than any one life.

[More Sam than Frodo.]

Living this ideal has proven difficult. Everywhere there are images and voices telling me to sit down. That there is nothing to fight for. That everything is just fine. Yet all around there is oppression and struggle in a new (more civilized?) flavor: Legal opioid addiction. The poor despised, even by themselves. Meaningless jobs to purchase meaningless products. Political corruption on all sides.

Most survive, no one lives.

The world isn’t ruled by people like us. The majority. The victims. The peasants.

Instead it is ruled by corporations. By commercials, bills and debt. Society seeks to wring as great a profit from the growing human population as it can. They treat us like mice on a wheel…

… and it works.

I can’t count the times people have told me “that’s just the way things are.” Encouraging me to stop questioning, to stop hoping, to stop believing in something better. To just give in.

We are ACTIVELY encouraging our own submission…

Where do we learn these behaviors? Why do we continue to consume with such indoctrinated fervor? What can be done to unite us in real community again?

These are my questions.

Now to present my theories…
